Openness, accountability, and honesty define transparency.  Thankfully, Milwaukie’s approach to transparency is proactive. This is especially important in policing, and the recent incorporation of body cameras is a welcome addition.  This approach is not a given, and we have to seek to expand transparency and guard against any erosion of it.
